# Test customization

The test is fully customizable and we can alter the avatars, the questions that are asked, number of questions, the scoring rubrics, and duration of the test.

Recruiters and hiring managers routinely customize the questions on the test to measure not only spoken English skills but also get a preliminary idea of a candidate's domain knowledge.

Teachers customize the test to make it more level specific and engaging for their students.

For paid subscribers, we also offer [Speechace Workspaces](/speechace-speaking-test/speechace-workspaces-create-manage-and-share-speaking-assessments.md), which is a full test management platform that can be used to create custom tests and share them with candidates. Workspaces also allow you to monitor student performance and export test scores in CSV format.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://speaking-test-docs.speechace.com/speechace-speaking-test/speechace-speaking-test-documentation/test-customization.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
