Clone an existing assessment

Learn how to duplicate an assessment without having to recreate a similar assessment from scratch.

The clone feature is useful when a test creator wants to create assessments with minor changes in settings or if test creator wants to duplicate assessments across different workspaces.

The test-creater can follow the steps below to clone an existing assessment directly from the My Assessments dashboard,

  1. The test-creater should click on the Ellipsis (three vertical dots) in the My Assessments section on the left-hand menu, then select the Clone option from the dropdown.

  2. If there are multiple workspaces, the test-creater should choose the workspace where the selected assessment needs to be cloned and click Next.

  3. Then, the test-creater can edit the configurations (if needed): Name, description and the thumb image of the assessment - and click on Next.

  4. Then, they can choose to record either the full video or just the voice of the test-taker in the cloned assessment, then click Next to proceed.

  5. The next step is to for the cloned assessment.

  1. Then the test-creater needs to click Submit to apply the changes. Next, they will be returned to the dashboard of existing assessments.
